Are you ready to be part of something magical? Vogrie Pogrie, Midlothian’s Community Festival of Creativity and Curious Happenings, is on the lookout for enthusiastic volunteers to help bring the festival to life! Taking place from 13th to 15th September 2024 at Vogrie Country Park in Gorebridge, this is your chance to join a vibrant community that celebrates creativity, playfulness, and the joy of being together.
What is Vogrie Pogrie?
Vogrie Pogrie is a growing festival, full of unique opportunities to try out creative activities, connect with your local community, and enjoy an unforgettable celebration as summer fades into autumn. Whether you’re a lover of the arts, someone looking to make new friends, or simply curious about what goes on behind the scenes, Vogrie Pogrie welcomes you!
Volunteer Opportunities:
We are seeking fun, considerate individuals aged 16+ to join our team. Here’s how you can help:
Pre-Festival Roles: Be part of the build and production crews or use your creative talents to contribute to our decoration team.
During the Festival: Help with stewarding, assisting workshop leaders, or supporting our visitors by ensuring they have all the information they need for an amazing experience.
Post-Festival: Join us as we pack everything away and celebrate the success of the event!
What You’ll Get in Return:
In exchange for your time, energy, and enthusiasm, we offer:
Travel Reimbursement (covering petrol or public transport costs)
Delicious Meals from our crew catering (plus tea, coffee, and biscuits!)
Free Camping for the entire weekend in our crew camping zone
Valuable Experience: Learn the ins and outs of festival production, shadow experienced team members, and be part of a supportive and welcoming team.
