Accessibility
Hello!
MAP AND PROGRAMME
Please see the map below to check wheelchair accessible paths, facilities and refreshments locations.
Look out for the symbols on the programme which will indicate the vibe of performances across the festival: Calm, High-Energy, Sensory or BSL interpreted. ALL of our performances and workshops are relaxed, we welcome you to come and participate as you are.
SENSORY SPACES
In addition to our Forest Sensory Area by Vogrie House, there will also be a sensory tent near to the campsite offering a peaceful space away from too much sound and light. There will be a few gentle sensory workshops in this space, as well as an evening bedtime story, so do check the programme for those!
BSL
We’re delighted to be welcoming British Sign Language (BSL) Interpreters on site this year. The Story Tree will have BSL interpreted stories on Saturday from 11am-2pm and Sunday from 11am-7pm.
BEACH WHEELCHAIRS!!
For our visitors with additional mobility needs, we’re thrilled to announce a collaboration with Beach Wheelchairs for 2024, who are providing us with 2 adult cross-terrain wheelchairs, 1 child cross-terrain wheelchair and a walker with seat. Please see attached information sheets. **There will be no hoist availability on site, so users will have to self-transfer or be transferred manually by carers.**
If you are interested in reserving one of these mobility aids for your visit to the festival, please contact us on vogriepogrieaccess@gmail.com
SEE YOU SOON!
This year we’ve tried to make Vogrie Pogrie more accessible than ever. We welcome feedback from our community with additional support needs and their carers! Have a wonderful festival!
